5 Part Drill — Paul guides his class through several positional exercises: [I] Paul demonstrates the "Hip Rewind" and removes his partner's ability to effectively frame against Cross-Side Top. [II] After claiming Underhook & Head Control from Side Mount, Paul shows how to maneuver his partner's hand into danger for an Americana or Farside Armbar. [III] Paul incorporates a drill designed to improve balance and proper posture for maintaining the top position dynamically without the use of his hands. [IV] If your opponent is able to press you away from bottom, fill the space he creates to escape with your own leg for Knee on Belly and deflect his frames to fall back down into Side Control. [V] Paul starts free-form drills, allowing his students to investigate how to develop drills for their specific needs and interests.
